A Meaning Song-Pray

The song’s name is Pray. As you see, it talks the prayer (Justin Bieber) was pray for Africa who is in trouble. We can see the news about Africa in the papers or on the TV. The war is break out. Children are crying, soldiers are dying, and buildings are toppling down. Many people lose their home. Homeless people not only don’t have food to eat, but also live outside to through all night. Their body is cold, heart feel loneliness. The singer wants to make a change. So he prays for these people.

The song has many poetic devices. Now, I give you some examples.
'I just can't sleep tonight
Knowing that things ain't right'
This is rhyme. If you listen to the song carefully, you can find more rhymes.
'I lose my appetite knowing kids starve tonight

He went to the Africa to encourage people. He plays with children, singing with adults. He think there is sunshine behind that rain, there’s a good times behind that pain. After war, the soldiers go back their home, their families was so exciting. We can find the sunshine is coming. The singer gives his best wishes to these people. When I hear the song, I can image what life the people live and it let me feel sad. The tone of the song is slowly and full of feelings.

An Important Experience

On October 2, 2010, my friends and I went to a village by bike. We went camping. I took food, drinks and clothes in my backpack, and my friends took tent and other things we needed, like barbecue. In the morning, we started off and rode the bike along the roads one by one. We rode for a very long time. In the afternoon, we got to a small restaurant to eat dinner. After that, we started our ride again. Finally, we reached our destination. There was a great river and many trees. Of course, firstly we needed to make a fire, and it was time to pitch our tent. I scoured the area for somewhere to pitch tent. In the end, we decided to put up tent by the fire. We found some stone for stability, and then we started to sleep. This night was very charming, but also scary. I was afraid of the dark and I was scared there might be a big bear or wolf. So I couldn’t sleep very well. The next day, we got up early and looked at the beautiful scenery.

Before this experience, when I did something, if it was too hard, I always gave up. I think I am not a patient girl. In my memories, I didn’t go outside through the night before. My parents think that is dangerous. But this time, my parents allowed me to go outside. I was so surprised. I think I have enough bravery to do other things after. My friends didn’t have this experience before, so they also changed a lot.

After this experience, I have become more persistent and braver. I know the scenery I did not see before. My friends and I are so happy that we went outside with each other. In the process, we united and our relationship becomes better.

Admire And Be Different

Three things I have learned from my parents.

My parents are affectionate. When I see some show talks about the marriage life. It talks about someone doesn’t like their marriage life and they always fight with each other. When I saw these things, I would feel I was so lucky I have so nice parents. At home, my mother like a queen, she doesn’t need do anything. My father like maid, but he would not feel the ‘job’ is bad. Sometimes I would ask my father, ‘why you like use this attitude for my mother, but not for me?’ When my father hears the sentence, he always smile and told me your mother is my wife, I have the responsibility let her happy. I love your mother. Of course include you, my daughter. I admire this life.

 l  Dependable

My parents are dependable. They have their own work. They let me feel reassuring. People always said ‘Home is life's harbor.’ The word is true, when you feel tired; you want to go back home and relaxed. And when you meet problems, you would think of your family. In my eyes my parents can solve any trouble for me. They all so smart. Of course, my parents’ friends like to them for help. It means my parents are dependable. I want to be like this.

 My father is so funny. Every children like him. He always has many jokes. Therefore, my mother and I never feel boring. When my father feel the atmosphere is not hot, he will let the state change. I like this skill.

I am Gemini. Gemini is the third sign of the Zodiac and associated with youth. And next I’ll tell you some characteristics about me.

I am communicative. When I am in a new environment, I can adapt quickly. My teacher thought I always said many words in class, but I think it was just communicate with other people. And I always joke with my teacher in class. I think it made for an interesting atmosphere.

My name is Thomas Alva Edison. I’m from America. I was hailed as ‘king of invention in the world’. I have three reasons why I should be the one who remains on the balloon.

Firstly, I am an extremely famous inventor in the world. In United States I hold 1093 patentsunder, and I in the United States, Britain, France and Germany, numberof patents more than 1500. I am the greatest inventor, so far, no one can break the world record number of invention patents. If I am eaten by the shark, and these inventions would disappear.

Furthermore, I have the most important invention in the world. For example, light bulb, gramophone and cinecamera. I changed the human life and make people lighting way from candles into the light. You all know the importance of the phonograph. These inventions are very important for us. If I am allowed to live, I promise I would make more useful invention for you.

Finally, everybody knows I was married and I have kids. If I die, who looks after them? I love my family. At the same time, everyone has your own family, don’t you want to stay with them? I want to continue life with my family!

Sacrifice

Everyone has to make sacrifices in the community, but the character is different. My relatives sacrifices for me.

When I was born in the world, my mother endured a lot of pain. Every woman would endure the pain like my mother. My relatives all sacrifice their time, money and energy for me.

When I was a primary school student, my grandfather picked me up every day. Although I told him that he didn’t need picked me up and I can go back home by myself. My grandfather said, ‘It’s ok! Just for keep health!’ But I know, he doesn’t want me go back home lonely, he knew I was afraid of loneliness.

Since my parents are businessmen. Therefore, they were all so busy every day. Maybe in other people eyes, I just stay at home alone when I after school. On the contrary, my parents could take time out for me.

Fortunately, my grandfather’s parents are all alive. They always feel boring in their life. Because they are all old now and couldn’t proceed entertainment activities. Consequently, I always stay with them when I finished my work.

Superpower-read other's feeling

If I could have one superpower, I would choose to read other's feelings.

Everybody would make friends with each others, but in the process, it may make misunderstandings, mistakes, and sadness. But I don't want to these things to happen. Therefore, I want to read other's felings. I would be so sad if my friends misunderstood me.

 Maybe I would quarrel with my friend, and I don't know what she(he) was thinking about. We can just think for ourselves, and don't know other's feelings. We could not resolve this question quickly.

When my best friend cry, I have no idea to help her so she does not cry. If I could read her feeling, just touch her anywhere, and then I would know what she was thinking.

When somebody want to jump from high building, if I can understand his feeling, maybe he would jumping.

I think I would solve many things if I could read other's feelings.

Walk In The Dark

I'm afraid of walking in the dark. When I was a child, I want to go back to my old house in the evenin. Because  my parents were very busy, so I just go to the place alone. Unfortunately, the roads have no light and there are many weeds around the road. The sound of the wind is so big, I was so frightened. But I really wanted to go to the house to look for a gift that my best friend give me. Suddenly, I heare a stronge voice behind me. 'Wow, what's that ?' I was thinking. I don't dare to turn around. I thought that it must be a ghost. Therefore, I walked so slowly. I walked step by step. But I am also afraid of it, so I just run fast. Although I run so fast, Iwas still afraid of the dark. When I want to give up and lie down, I found I arrived at my old house. I think I was successful. Finally, I found that gift and then went back. Maybe I'm still afraid of walking in the dark now, if I'll walk in the dark next time, I would take a flashlight or go with my friends.

Moon Jellyfish

Last week I went to the Vancouver Aquarium and discovered Aurelia aurita .

I like jellyfish. Jellyfish has many kinds. My favorite love is Aurelia aurita. Many people call them "Moon Jellyfish". Just depend on its appearance. Its body is like an umbrella, like a ball. It is very cute and about 10 to 30 cm in diameter. It is transparent. It lives in optimum temperature 22 - 26 degrees, the maximum temperture is 30 degrees, and the low limit is 15 degrees.  Optimal salinity range 21 - 23. Salt of a lower bound of 24, up to 32. If the water quality vitality better, energy is better.

First of all, it has a soft body and the skin is smooth, and also is bioluminescente in the water.

Jerryfish is an inverte made up mostly of water, it has no heart, brain or bones. It's made up of 96% water, 3% protein and 1% minerals. The body is like an umbrella. Jellyfish are invertebrates. Therefore, it looks very softble. It bioluminescence by virtue of a protein called aikuilin's magic, the protein encounters calcium, will be able to issue a strong blue light. So that is why its body is soft and the skin is smooth. Now we can know why it can bioluminescence in the water.

Secondly, it can swim, and move slowly and cute.
Jellyfish swim by jet propulsion. The jellyfish will expand then quickly contract its bell-shaped body, which forces water away from the bell and pushes the jelly in the opposite direction. Its round head, follows the flow movement. Sometimes, it looks like a little baby, moving so slowly. It's likes a lazy person, don't want to do anything. Maybe not it doesn't want to swim faster, just because it depends on the flow, if the flow is fast, it can swim fast, I believe. Consequently, it's cute in my eyes.

Finally, it is beautiful and also can protect itself.
When jellyfish float in water, the edge of the umbrella groups of hair(the tentacles with stinging cells) and flowing like the case of many small flocks of sea snake dance, very elegantly and beautiful, but if you touch the jellyfish accidentally, it'll be dangerous, even you would die. Jellyfish have speciatized stinging cells, called cniodocytes. Each of these cells contains a nematocyst which acts like a mini-harpoon. When a jellyfish touches something the nematocyst is released and injects toxin into the prey. Fortunately, I have not touched the jellyfish.


In conclusion, I love jellyfish, especially Moon Jellyfish. It is clever, cute, beautiful.

A Challenging Time

In China, everybody has to pass entrance examination to go to high school. If you can't pass the exam, you would not go to high school. Therefore, I also have to prepare for the exam. I still remember it was February, 2009. All the people spent their spring holiday, of course except Grade 9 and Grade 12. I have lots of homework to do every day. I stayed at school until 10 o'clock. (I wish I was not.) When I went back home, I also couldn't sleep. I have to do exercise for exam. "I don't like middle school." I complained with my mom. "You have to do it. Other people are doing these things like you. If you give up, you will be sifted out!" The word is true, if I didn't do these, what else I can do? But I only want to live a simple life. "Life is full of challenges." Our teacher always said the sentence to us.


Now, I'm a high school student. I never forget that time I prepared for the exam. That is an experience for me. It's helpful to let me grow up. In a word, the experience is not only a challenging time, but also give me huge benefits.

My Best Memory

When I decided to go to Canada, all of my best friends were sad. The day before I left my hometown, it is was 22 August, 2011. My best friend called me, and she let me go to the park near my house. When I got there, I found so many people. It was so amazing. At the same time, I was very touched. They told me many words that educated me. One of my impression is my best girl friend gave me two diaries. "You can't see the diary now, if you want to see it, you must go back home!" She told me.



When I went home, I opened the diary. I read a page after a page. My eyes moistened. The diary records everything that we went through. It inclouds happiness, misunderstand, love, friendship...... I was so lucky that I have such a wonderful best friend. I love him. Of course, I love all of my friends.

Last Thursday I saw “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. This movie is an old movie. It was written by Joho Hughes. And the director is Joho Hughes, too. It was released on 11 June, 1986 in USA. It is a comedy.

The movie is about when Ferris decided to take a day off when other people were studying at school. So he pretended to be sick. But if he wants to take the day off, of course he includes his best friend, Cameron and girl friend, Sloane. Cameron reluctantly borrows his father’s Ferrari for Ferris. They plan to take Sloane out of school. And at the same time, the dean of students Mr. Rooney knows what Ferris wants to do, but he can’t catch him. To catch Ferris, he goes to Ferris home. And there are lots of funny things that happen at Ferris house. Ferris's sisiter Jeanie is indignant about Ferris always can escape with his tricks. Unexpectedly, Ferris is a docile boy in his parents eyes. Wow~~ His day off is beginning.

The male actor is a clever and optimistic boy. His name is Ferris Bueller. At school, the student all adimire him. At home, he is an angel in his parents eyes. He enjoys his life very much. He doesn't worry about his future or any thing else. But on the other hand, his best friend, Cameron is not like him. He always worris about everything, he is anxious his future, his father and other things. The movie's female actor is Ferris's girlfriend. Her name is Sloane. She also admires Ferris's life. She loves Ferris. Another important person is Ferris sisiter, Jeanie. She lives under the shadow of her brother. Of course, the movie's antagonist is the dean of students Mr. Rooney. In my eyes, he is so funny.

During the movie, I liked the person who enjoys his life. At the end of the film, Cameron vents by kicking his father car, I liked the scene. Because I think through the thing, he must release his feelings. I like to do something that I like.

I learned many things from this movie. The movie always mention the sentence "Life moves fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you are gonna miss it." Really these words are true, we should enjoy our life.

In my opinion, I think youth will like this movie. Such as high school students, middle school students. Cause the movie is funny. And it teaches us a lot. Maybe the head of a family could see this movie, because the movie mentioned something about speaks to real life.

My Favorite Movie

    My favorite movie is A Little Thing Called Love. The movie was made in Thailand. It talks about an ordinary girl to seek her first love bravely. She falls in love with an older man, one of the best-looking guys in school. For her love, she changes a lot. Through leading this process, the girl increasing improves herself constantly. Of course, the mail actor is handsome. The girl is cute, too. And through look the movie, I know everything is possible if you work hard. I saw the movie last year, but I still remember the claasic dialogue. The girl says"But I know now, I should have done to do most things over to mentor you say: I love you!" In conclusion, I love this movie.
 

One Thing I Want To Do Before I Die

    I'm 17 years old now. I'm thinking about my life and my future. But if I die. I would to just stay at home with my husband, hold a party with my friends. I only want to spend my last moments simply. I don't want to go anywhere. Every morning, for my health, I would get exercise with my husband and my kids. And I would make an appointment with my best friend. Although we will be old, we also can have fun with each other. Therefore, I couldn't feel lonely until I die. In conclusion, whatever I do before I die, I just want to stay with my family and friends.

If I could Change One Thing About My Country

      If I could change one thing about my country, I would change the environmental problems. At present, the environment is the most important problem in my country. A Meaningful Trip

  
         When I was on summer holiday on August, 2010. I went to Lijiang city with my family. The city is situated in the southwest of Yunnan, China. I have to do lots of homework in my country in grade 11. So the holiday was very short. In order to relax, my father decided take me to the city.

           It's a famous city in China.Of course, the reason also nicluded the city is close to my home town. Consequently, we went to Lijiang in our  car. When we got there, I saw many people who from different places. By the way, Lijiang Ancient City is the most famous scenic spot in the city. The ancient city contains rich of national culture. And it was built during the Ming dynasty. It's so far away! I love the city!
        
          In conclusion, through the trip, I felt the charm of Chinese Culture.

My Favorite Food

     My favorite food is hot pot. There are many different hot pot in our country. It looks like very delicious and rich. Because it has varietes of ingredients. Therefore, it looks like colorfully. You can eat vegetables with hot pot. Of cource you can eat any meat, too. I like eat meat with hot pot very much. When I close to it, I can smell the fragrance. That time, I feel the saliva will come out.
     As you see, the ingredients include meat, potato, sea foods and so on. When I started eating,  although it tastes spicy, strong flavor. But I also like it. When I feel cold, I always want to eat hot pot with my friends, or my family. That will make you feel warm. It always make voice when it boiling, sounds like "purrs". So when you hear the voice, it indicated you can eat hot pot right away. Thus, this is the reason why my favorite food is hot pot.
