In my opinion, I think the quote means everybody will make mistakes, but it is not important.

The thing you should pay attention to is you should realize you are wrong, and then put it right, so you can get gains from this failure.

 I think the quotation applies to everybody. I believe everybody knows the quotation.

In my eyes, the quotation is so important. When I face failure, this sentence always appears before my eyes. “Failure is the mother of success,” my mother and teacher told me.

 After failure, I realize I made a mistake, and I change myself. Therefore, I get gains.

At the same time, I think the quotation is meant for everybody – if you are child, old man, boy or girl.

 In conclusion, this quotation always encourages me.
