My Zodiac-Gemini

I am Gemini. Gemini is the third sign of the Zodiac and associated with youth. And next I’ll tell you some characteristics about me.

I am communicative. When I am in a new environment, I can adapt quickly. My teacher thought I always said many words in class, but I think it was just communicate with other people. And I always joke with my teacher in class. I think it made for an interesting atmosphere.

I am not superficial. If I want to make friends with others, I would comprehend their inner quality. On the other hand, when I feel sad, I would tell my friends what I think about. They'll know my feelings.

I am liberal. In China, many friends like joke with me. For example, they always said, 'Manman, you're so fat, you need to lose weight.' Some girls can't stand the sentence, but in my eyes, it is just joke, and it is my friends' suggestion. Therefore, I would not energy about it.

I am not lazy. I always help my mother do housework. And I exercise every day. On weekends, some people would stay at home to relax. But for me, I don't like stay at home all the time. I want to walk the dog, and go outside.

I am moodiness. My temper like the weather. Maybe I am so happy now, and wait a moment my temper will change. My friends and family always can't understand why am I so angry, they thought I was so happy, but it is not.

Balloon Debate

My name is Thomas Alva Edison. I’m from America. I was hailed as ‘king of invention in the world’. I have three reasons why I should be the one who remains on the balloon.

Firstly, I am an extremely famous inventor in the world. In United States I hold 1093 patentsunder, and I in the United States, Britain, France and Germany, numberof patents more than 1500. I am the greatest inventor, so far, no one can break the world record number of invention patents. If I am eaten by the shark, and these inventions would disappear.

Furthermore, I have the most important invention in the world. For example, light bulb, gramophone and cinecamera. I changed the human life and make people lighting way from candles into the light. You all know the importance of the phonograph. These inventions are very important for us. If I am allowed to live, I promise I would make more useful invention for you.

Finally, everybody knows I was married and I have kids. If I die, who looks after them? I love my family. At the same time, everyone has your own family, don’t you want to stay with them? I want to continue life with my family!

For these reasons, I should be the one who stays on the balloon. Please let me live!

Sacrifice

Everyone has to make sacrifices in the community, but the character is different. My relatives sacrifices for me.

When I was born in the world, my mother endured a lot of pain. Every woman would endure the pain like my mother. My relatives all sacrifice their time, money and energy for me.

When I was a primary school student, my grandfather picked me up every day. Although I told him that he didn’t need picked me up and I can go back home by myself. My grandfather said, ‘It’s ok! Just for keep health!’ But I know, he doesn’t want me go back home lonely, he knew I was afraid of loneliness.

Since my parents are businessmen. Therefore, they were all so busy every day. Maybe in other people eyes, I just stay at home alone when I after school. On the contrary, my parents could take time out for me.

Fortunately, my grandfather’s parents are all alive. They always feel boring in their life. Because they are all old now and couldn’t proceed entertainment activities. Consequently, I always stay with them when I finished my work.

I’m so glad that I can sacrifice for other people. At the same time, I am also grateful that other people sacrifice for me.
